I thank Megan, my daughter, for helping me with the design of this beautiful blog that I can call my own. As for the $10 that I am paying her...I will use it to buy pizza for whole family when Bjorn is back from his String Orchestra performance outside Heerem.
This morning, I attended my SQN's National Education Outing with Families and Friends. I was very glad to see many of my colleagues came with their families, and the good turnout by the children of Down Syndrome Association (DSA) and their guardians. Although it was a simple event without frill, it was full of family warmth. I know very well that much effort was put in by the organisers to make it this way (simple but with family warmth). I must thank Seah John for taking really good care of our guests from DSA, Derek for arranging with Army Museum of Singapore and Singapore Discovery Centre, and Yoke Leng on the National Education. And of course, they do not work alone. I can see many others helping them to get things done. Without them, the event would not be successful.
It is always after such event that I treasured the guys' very positive attitude and resourcefulness... I must constantly remind myself that they are good, real good, in their daily effort and not only when organising an event. I owe them that.
Ok, got to go now. Need to buy dinner (yes it is 2135hr now) and later I am sure I have to call for pizza delivery...
